I'm rather surprised that I find myself typing this, but I like Mike Huckabee. This might perplex anyone who knows my political leanings don't exactly coincide with his (to say the least); in fact, it's safe to say that I find some of his views, particularly his views on gay marriage, to be entirely offensive. Nevertheless, I can't help but feel that Mike Huckabee is a genuinely nice guy. Here's an interview he did on the Daily Show last week:

It makes me sort of sad that honesty and the ability to carry on a civil, reasoned debate is so rare in a politician that it's such a pleasant surprise to find one that holds to those ideals. Even someone who's just so damn wrong.
